DIY Shuffleboard Scoreboard Kit (Wired Buttons)

Several customers have taken my scoreboard electronics and put them into enclosures of their own making. I developed this kit for individuals who are interested in making their own custom shuffleboard scoreboard with wired button control. The scoreboard has numbers on both faces of the PCB, making it ideal for placing midway down the table such that the score is always visible to both players. If you only want a single sided scoreboard, just mask one of the sides with your enclosure. There are two 20 foot button cables allowing you to place Red, Blue and Black (Reset) buttons at both ends of your table. Either red button will increment the red player score and either blue button will increment the blue player score. Holding in a red or blue button will decrement the appropriate score, allowing you to correct scoring errors or handle scoring disputes. Pressing the Reset Button once will reset the score to zero, pressing it twice will turn off the display. Pressing it again will turn the display on. The digits are 3" tall (viewable from over 75 feet) and the PCB is 10.4" x 3.7". You can configure the orientation of the scoreboard with a jumper shunt on the PCB, allowing you to build your enclosure with the cables coming out of the top or the bottom, depending on your needs. You can set the brightness to one of four levels by use of jumper shunts on the PCB.

Four pieces of plexiglass (2 red and 2 blue)
Two 20 foot button cables, each with a Red, Blue and Black button (for routing Red score, Blue Score and Reset buttons to each end of your table)
An 18 inch internal power cable (for routing power from the scoreboard to the edge of your enclosure)
Two self-adhesive molding strips for covering seam or gap in the middle of the plexiglass pieces (not necessary if your enclosure will mask the edges)
A 12VDC, 2Amp power supply
